My role

A founder I know asked if I could recommend someone to help build a landing page. I offered to take it on, even though I had never worked with Framer before. I received a brief and handled the entire project independently, designing and developing the site from scratch, including layout, visuals, interactivity, and responsiveness.

The challenge

The biggest challenge was time. I had to learn Framer on the fly and deliver a fully functional landing page in just one week, as the team wanted to build and test fast. Balancing speed with quality, crafting a cohesive visual tone using generative assets, and ensuring reliable performance across devices required focused, adaptive execution.

It was also a fun creative challenge to design visual assets that made the page feel more alive. I created a simple wordmark using the Orbitron font and styled the letter “S” to serve as both a logo and favicon. Then I gave ChatGPT a shot at helping with illustrations - turns out, it did the job surprisingly well. This was my first time using AI tools for production-ready visuals, and the results were more than satisfactory.

Outcome

The site launched in early June 2025 and now serves as Syla’s main acquisition channel. It marked a key step in helping the team move from MVP to a public-facing product. While still early, the site is now live and ready to support customer onboarding and sales efforts. For me, it was a great example of delivering fast without cutting corners—and a valuable opportunity to apply both design and implementation in a real startup context.
